Last night we went out on a Tuesday to attend opening night of Finding Neverland, a hit Broadway musical now touring across the country. (A big thank you to the National Theatre in D.C. who graciously provided us with tickets to see the show!) The story is about playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired him to create Peter Pan. We didn’t quite know what to expect, but had heard it was award-winning and figured it would certainly have some magical moments, given the source material. Read on to hear a bit more about the show and for our thoughts….Read More

Most people have probably figured out by now that we are big fans of Disney branded entertainment. Whether a Disney movie, a Broadway play, or an in-park show we always find the performance quality to be top notch and all the creativity put into the show is super impressive. One show that most people assume is just for kids, we as adults actually love… Disney On Ice! This ice show comes to town a couple times of year and we think it is a great way to get a little dose of Disney magic when your next trip is a bit too far away. We make a date night out of it and grab dinner then catch the show to enjoy the ice dancing, music, and seeing favorite characters. Read on for upcoming show info and a coupon for tickets!Read More
Every year as part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, the American Gardens Theater hosts the traditional Candlelight Processional. On select nights, this hour long performance includes the telling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, a 50 piece orchestra, and a full choir. This is a free event for anyone with park entrance, however the standby lines can get crazy long. This year we decided to book the Candlelight Processional Dining Package to avoid lines and get reserved seating to the show. Keep on reading for a review of our experience and our thoughts on if the package purchase was a good value.Read More
When we traveled to Walt Disney World a couple of years ago during the holiday season we had such a fantastic time that we decided to plan to visit again this year! One of the highlights for us during this time is attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). This is a an after hours special event (just like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party), and while a party like this may sound like it’s just for kids, we actually think it’s an even better event for adults with later hours (and the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!). So read on for our reasons MVMCP is a must do (and a few planning tips!).Read More
After all the years visiting Walt Disney World, we had actually never made it to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. Recently some work travel popped up for Andrew in Orlando, and we decided to plan a quick weekend trip. After a late night at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party we woke up on Saturday to head over and check out the festival. It was an unusually hot day, but beautiful and sunny. We weren’t sure what to expect but made sure to show up hungry. Read on for a recap of our day, plenty of foodie pics, and five main lessons learned...Read More
Last weekend we planned a somewhat last minute trip to Walt Disney World and decided a great way to enjoy the time of year was to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. When an event is called “Not So Scary” and includes trick-or-treating you would assume it is just for kids. But in true Disney fashion this special ticketed event is for everyone and a great way for adults to kick back and feel like a kid again. Being a limited experience it is best to get the most our of this event, so we have created a list of the best ways to enjoy this event as adults. Read on and get ready to party!Read More
We recently had a great first time visit to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida. We already posted an overall review of the resort as well as an article dedicated to dining information. This final post is dedicated to the activities we enjoyed while staying at this great property. Vero Beach is a much more quiet and relaxed trip than compared to visiting nearby Orlando, but there were definitely still quite a few things to do (or not do!) while on vacation. Read on for our top activity picks…Read More
